Family Workshop

Overview

This literature-based workshop will inspire students to make their own clay characters! Students will change their expression and act out stories with these figures. Ellie will read books about claymation and create artworks based on technique.

Guardians and parents are welcome to join their student to complete an artwork or choose to have registered participants work independently.

About Family Workshops

Tinworks is thrilled to continue offering free children’s workshops featuring themes from the 2025 A Kin To Clay exhibition. These guided workshops are led by local art educators and professionals on a variety of techniques and mediums. Ages 7-17 welcome to all workshops. Guardians and parents are welcome to join their student to complete an artwork or choose to have their registered participants work independently. Family workshops will take place in the Family & Community Space. About the Instructor

Ellie Newell is Head of Youth Services at Bozeman Public Library. She is a champion of books and is passionate about art.
