Join us to learn how to make a simple printing block, and use it to create a repeating pattern inspired by decorative tiles from a variety of cultures and traditions. Look at examples of various tile patterns from around the world to spark your own designs.

Guardians and parents are welcome to join their student(s) to complete an artwork or choose to have registered participants work independently.

Tinworks is thrilled to continue offering free children’s workshops featuring themes from the 2025 A Kin To Clay exhibition. These guided workshops are led by local art educators and professionals on a variety of techniques and mediums. Ages 7-17 welcome to all workshops. Guardians and parents are welcome to join their student to complete an artwork or choose to have their registered participants work independently. Family workshops will take place in the Family & Community Space.
